Possible existence of an after death living soul and conscious robots

I don’t believe your soul lives on after you die. I think that, as I read in an article, matter is needed in which processes take place to be able to speak of a mind and the corresponding consciousness. But the possibility that robots can have just as much awareness as humans, is a difficult idea for me. It might be true, but the complex thinking and insight of people, and especially the realization of the existence in the here and now, does not seem to reconcile with this.

I think that the specific properties and the realization of consciousness ensure that recording all conceivable information about human and the processes that take place in our brain, will not be enough to imitate the mind or bring us back to life with the same complex consciousness in the form of a robot or computer. Although we never know what the future will bring.
